After quite a wait, Black Panther (2016) managed to surprise many. Ryan Coogler's masterpiece is hailed as the best film, setting a new standard for other MCU movies. Not only are the visual effects dazzling, but the action-packed and exotic cultural onslaught is showcased brilliantly.
There's a legend about five African tribes vying for a meteorite containing vibranium metal. One warrior drinks the Heart-Shaped Herb, turning into a superhuman known as the "Black Panther." Once, T’Chaka held the throne. However, after the King's demise, it's his son's turn to take up the mantle.
On this grand day, other tribes are asked for their opinions on T'Challa's coronation. None reject it, except Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje living in the mountains. Both are worthy of being King, so they must fight to determine the ruler. T’Chaka wins the battle and is now officially the King of Wakanda.
After ascending the throne, T'Challa faces Ulysses Klaue, who has been a fugitive from Wakanda for 30 years. The man steals vibranium from a museum, intending to sell it to American buyers in South Korea.
Unfortunately, the mission to capture Ulysses Klaue doesn't go well. He is successfully whisked away by his accomplices.
Meanwhile, T'Challa brings the injured Agent Ross to Wakanda, trying to repay his debt for saving Nakia.
Unexpectedly, Wakanda receives an unwanted guest, Erik Stevens, who turns out to be the son of Prince N’Jobu. Erik Stevens, or N’Jadaka, comes to claim his right to the throne from T’Challa. The battle between the two heirs begins, but everyone is shocked by the outcome.
T'Challa is killed, and now N’Jadaka takes over as the new King of Wakanda. Meanwhile, the Queen Mother and Shuri must flee before the new King can harm them. Avenging his father's death and now in full control of Wakanda, N’Jadaka begins his actions. He starts dismantling Wakanda's traditions and initiates a revolution by openly selling vibranium in warfare."
