Alexander Skarsgard (Godzilla vs. King Kong, Big Little Lies), as Amleth, is able to show various emotions and expressions that are well conveyed to the audience. He successfully played a character who tried to be tough but was filled with anger and uncertainty in himself.
Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Peaky Blinders, The Queen's Gambit) also performed well as Olga, a Russian Slavic witch who accompanied Amleth to a better future.
