The film tells the story of a priest named Thomas (Jerome Kurnia), who wants to resign after his mother and younger sibling die in a tragic accident. The incident causes Father Thomas to begin doubting his faith.
Burdened by his emotional state, Thomas intends to step down from his role as a priest. However, when he goes to submit his resignation letter, he is instead assigned one final task—to perform an exorcism ritual.
Father Thomas is asked to assist Father Rendra in performing an exorcism on Kayla, the best friend of his late sister. Kayla becomes possessed by a powerful demon after playing a spirit-calling game known as "jelangkung" in an attempt to summon her deceased father.
Together, the two priests begin the exorcism ritual to cast out the demon possessing Kayla. However, neither Thomas nor Father Rendra expects that the demon residing within Kayla is far stronger than they had imagined.

The presence of the demonic spirit within Kayla not only threatens her life but also that of her mother. During the course of the exorcism, it is revealed that Kayla's mother harbors a dark past, making her a target of the demon as well.
Throughout the exorcism ritual, Father Thomas faces immense challenges—not only from the dark forces haunting Kayla, but also from the inner doubts that plague his own soul.
