Bloodlines follows the story of a college student named Stefanie (Kaitlyn Santa). The film begins as Stefanie returns to her hometown, seeking help from the only person who may be able to save her family from the deadly fate that is pursuing them all.
Based on the official trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines released on Warner Bros.' YouTube channel, the plot unfolds with a group of people gathered for a party. They appear to be enjoying themselves, celebrating and sharing joyful moments together.
However, hidden dangers begin to emerge during the celebration. One scene shows someone preparing drinks who accidentally breaks a glass.
A shard from the broken glass unknowingly falls into a container of ice nearby. That shard eventually ends up in a guest’s drink when the ice is used—setting off a chain of events that hints at a deadly accident.
Another scene shows guests playing on a trampoline. Unbeknownst to them, a garden fork is lodged underneath, with its prongs pointing upward. This setup leads to a horrifying and unexpected accident that claims the life of one of the guests, illustrating the signature Final Destination-style of fatal chain reactions.
