The film Now You See Me tells the thrilling story of four magicians who are brought together by a mysterious figure and given a secret mission.
Each of the magicians possesses a unique talent: Daniel (played by Jesse Eisenberg) is a master of card tricks and illusion, Henley (Isla Fisher) is known for her expertise in dangerous escape acts, Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) specializes in sleight of hand and agility, and Merritt (Woody Harrelson) is a skilled mentalist and hypnotist. Together, they form a team and brand themselves as "The Four Horsemen".
Their spectacular performances quickly capture the public’s attention — and also attract the interest of law enforcement and an anti-magic investigator. The authorities become suspicious when the group begins pulling off seemingly impossible feats during their shows, including live heists that appear to redistribute stolen wealth to their audiences.
The second act of their elaborate plan is made possible with support from a wealthy sponsor, Arthur Tressler. However, during the show, the Four Horsemen turn on him, making him the victim of one of their grand tricks, which results in a major financial loss for him.
